How to maintain your stunning bathroom fittings & sanitaryware products post-installation.
Care & Maintenance - Overview
To ensure your product performs and gives many years of use, please follow these recommendations carefully, as any damages resulting from poor maintenance are not covered under the warranty.
The majority of products can be cleaned with warm water, mild soap, and a clean, soft cloth.
Using abrasive cleaning pads, wire wool, or micro-fibre cloths is not required to clean the product. Avoid a vigorous cleaning action.
Abrasive or strong cleaning products containing ammonia, bleaches, alcohol, dyes, and acids (hydrochloric, formic, phosphorus, chlorine or acetic) will be detrimental to the product finish.
If using a spray cleaner, apply the cleaning agent onto a soft cloth, and never directly spray onto the product, as the cleaner may enter gaps and openings and cause damage.
Residues of toiletries such as liquid soaps, shower gels, shampoos, hair dyes, perfumes, lipstick, aftershave, and nail varnish can also cause damage; carefully clean these using the methods mentioned above.
If a particular cleaner is required, always follow the instructions provided on the cleaning product, including application and dosage.
Always test the cleaning agent on an inconspicuous area before applying it to the whole surface; do not allow the cleaner to remain on the product for an extended period. After cleaning, rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Ensure that specialised cleaners are only applied to the specific area and do not come into contact with other materials that could be affected by it.
We would not recommend the mixing of different cleaning agents.
After cleaning, dry with a soft cloth.
Caring for Chrome, PVD & other Special Finishes
The product can be cleaned with warm water, mild soap, and a clean, soft cloth. Clean progressively and gently.
The ideal cleaning technique is to blot dry water from metal surfaces. Allowing water to evaporate on metal will form water deposits. It is essential to use a dabbing action to dry metal, not rubbing. Cleaning with a damp sponge and buff drying should keep your faucet looking beautiful.
Using abrasive cleaning pads, wire wool, or microfibre cloths is not required to clean the product.
Avoid a vigorous cleaning action, as this could contribute to denaturing and dulling the finish.
Always test your cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area of the product before applying it to the entire surface.
Abrasive or strong cleaning products containing ammonia, bleaches, alcohol, dyes, and acids (hydrochloric, formic, phosphorus, chlorine, or acid) will harm the product’s finish.
Most toilet cleaning products (e.g. Harpic) have high acidic content, which can damage the finish. Hence, they should not be used to clean chrome or PVD Finishes.
If using a spray cleaner, apply the cleaning agent onto a soft cloth, and never directly spray onto the product, as the cleaner may enter gaps and openings and cause damage.
Do not allow the cleaner to remain on the product for a while. After cleaning, rinse thoroughly with clean water.
If limescale has built up on your product, do not attempt to chip this off, as this could damage the protective lacquer and lead to further damage. Several applications of lemon juice (not a concentrate) or white vinegar, followed by a thorough rinsing with clean water, will slowly help to remove it.
After cleaning, dry with a soft cloth.
Caring for Marble & Onyx Basins
The various stones used have been chosen for their intense concentration of fossils. As they are purely natural products, there will also be variations of veins, colours, shades, micro-cracks, and small holes. This gives each piece the characteristic of being truly unique.
Do not place the product outdoors or in direct exposure to sunlight.

Residues of toiletries such as liquid soaps, shower gels, shampoos, hair dyes, perfumes, lipstick, aftershave, and nail varnish can also cause damage if not wiped up right away; this can allow the acids to react and eat away at the calcium carbonate in the stone, creating permanent marks.
